FREMANTLE skipper Matthew Pavlich still does not know whether the 2015 finals series will be his last. Pavlich, 33, is not contracted for 2016 after signing a one-year deal to play on this season.

The six-time All Australian was expected to be carefully managed this year but he has ended up playing 20 of a possible 22 games and is leading the club's goalkicking with 39.

Pavlich missed round 21 due to some Achilles soreness. He played in round 22 and was rested last week along with a large group of senior players.

"Pardon the pun, no you shouldn't read anything into that," Pavlich said.

"I was having a discussion with the publisher only last week about the timing of it and how people will raise a few eyebrows on the back of that.
