Preliminary finals fixture: Dockers, Eagles fight for a Western Derby GF

HAWTHORN will be looking to keep its hopes of clinching a historic three-peat alive when it travels to Perth to face Fremantle in a preliminary final at Domain Stadium next Friday night.
The back-to-back premiers found form in emphatic fashion at the MCG in the second semi-final, dismantling Adelaide by 74 points.
After a poor performance against West Coast in the qualifying final, the Hawks will travel to Perth for the second time in three weeks, to play off for their fourth consecutive Grand Final appearance.
The match against Fremantle, who have had a week's rest after beating the Sydney Swans in their qualifying final, will start at 6.20pm local time in Perth.
Hawthorn's leading goalkicker this season, Jack Gunston, remains in doubt for the clash.
The spearhead injured his ankle in the final term of the loss to the Eagles and did not play against the Crows.
Coach Alastair Clarkson said he was "uncertain" whether Gunston would be fit for the game.
He will need to prove his fitness by Tuesday or Wednesday next week in order to be cleared to play.
Fremantle coach Ross Lyon has a tough decision to make on whether or not tagger Ryan Crowley will return to the side.
Crowley's 12-month doping ban expires on Thursday September 24, and he looms as a perfect match-up for Hawks star Sam Mitchell.
Meanwhile, North Melbourne will head to Perth to face a red-hot West Coast, after overcoming the Sydney Swans by 26 points on Saturday night.
The AFL has confirmed that preliminary final will be played at Domain Stadium at 5.45pm local time next Saturday (September 26).
The Eagles will be hoping midfielder Chris Masten will be available to play after injuring his hamstring in the club's round 23 win over St Kilda.
