Worsfold out of the running for Crows job

JOHN Worsfold will not be the Crows' next senior coach after telling the club he was not in a position to stay in Adelaide long-term and commit to the role.
Worsfold, who joined the club as interim coaching director following the death of coach Phil Walsh, will finish at the club shortly.
There is growing speculation he will be offered the vacant Essendon senior position after warming to the idea of a coaching comeback.
The Bombers last week denied they had made any candidate a formal or informal offer to coach the club from 2016.
However, a delegation from the club, including captain Jobe Watson, star midfielder Dyson Heppell and CEO Xavier Campbell, flew to Adelaide with chairman Paul Little on his private jet to speak with Worsfold earlier this month.
Adelaide CEO Andrew Fagan said the Crows would continue their coach search after identifying a list of "high quality candidates", with their announcement expected early next month.
