Match report: Swans on song in a slog over Eagles

THE SYDNEY Swans have bounced back from last week's loss to Adelaide with a 39-point win over West Coast at a rain-soaked SCG on Saturday.
In a tight slog, the Swans had the answers to every Eagles challenge and kicked clear in the final term to run out 12.16 (88) to 7.7 (49) victors.
Gun midfielders Luke Parker, Tom Mitchell, Dan Hannebery and Josh Kennedy led the way, while youngster Tom Papley was influential throughout.

Lance Franklin booted 2.5, while co-captain Jarrad McVeigh also bobbed up with two goals.
Andrew Gaff, Matt Priddis and Chris Masten battled hard in the midfield, while Josh Kennedy kicked two goals.
After a tight first half, the Swans kicked clear early in the third term only for the Eagles to fight back.
Three quick goals saw the visitors take the lead, but it didn't last long with Swans booting three goals to close out the third quarter.
