Match report: Tigers stutter but get home over Suns

RICHMOND has defeated Gold Coast and kept its slim finals hopes alive, but it was done in a far from covincing manner with the home team needing to come from behind in the last quarter to snatch the 17.12 (114) to 15.7 (97) victory.
Momentum swung back and forth between the teams throughout, but when the Suns led by 15 points early in the last term it seemed they would run away with the game.
However, the Tigers stuck at it and, led by Dustin Martin in another best on ground performance, they managed to haul Gold Coast in and secure their fifth win of the season.
Weiterlesen ...On a sour note Kade Kolodjashnij was taken from the ground on a stretcher after copping Sam Lloyd's knee to the back of his head in a marking contest. Later reports suggested the young Sun was OK and sitting up in the rooms.
