Match report: Eagles break through for road win over Power

WEST Coast star Josh Kennedy kicked seven goals as the Eagles buried some road demons with an eight-point win over Port Adelaide on Saturday.
Kennedy, whose wife is expecting the couple's first child any day, arrived late in Adelaide to join his teammates before helping them sink Port 14.10 (94) to 13.8 (86).
The star forward lobbed in Adelaide late on Friday night and then dominated the twilight Saturday clash, kicking five and setting up another of the Eagles' initial nine goals.
West Coast's first away win in seven road trips was punctuated by Andrew Gaff being crudely knocked out by Port's Tom Jonas - and a report of Power star Robbie Gray. Gaff went back with the flight of the ball and marked before a late-coming Jonas hit him with a right forearm to the back of the head in a third-term act certain to result in suspension.
